I have a basic G router im using now for my laptop and 4+ other devices.

I have been wanting to purchasing an N router "Specifically for gaming"

for my Xbox360 and PS3.

What I want to know is if it is possible to have two routers in one home? one for the laptops and the other for my systems?

Some tell me I can't but i was thinking I have a phone jack in my room so can't i just buy another modem and the router and set one up there?

idk if it makes a difference but im using Vonage to for the internet/phone service.

Will i need to contact my ISP in order for this to work?

thanks

I think you can because you would select from the computer which router to use as the default. But Im lost, why not use the N router for all of your equipment.
